The 26th Annual Memorial Lecture

“William Archer - the Scot who was Ibsen's first translator,
and how translation has evolved since then.”

As usual, this will be held in the Belmont Room of the
Church Hall of Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church starting at 7:30 for a 7:45 PM start.

​

Following a Question Answer session...

we will have Refreshments, tea, coffee, wine,

and soft drinks with delicious

Norwegian Home baking

Meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the months of October, November, January and March.  The society's events can be found on their own page.

 

Meetings are held at

Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church - Church Hall
Saltoun Street/Observation Road.

Doors open for our meetings start at 7:30 pm for a prompt start at 8:00 pm.  

Refreshments, tea, coffee, and cakes are served after the main talk.

 

If you wish to practice your Norwegian or Scot's language skills

do come along at the earlier time of 7:30 pm.  

 

 

The formal meeting itself will get underway at 8.00 pm prompt.
