Norwegian Constitution Day, the 17th of May.‬‬‬

The traditional parade, before a ceremony and games for the children in Princes Street Gardens.

The official program for the day is usually...

12:45‬‬‬ Assembly for the parade on the High Street
(by the top of Cockburn Street)‬‬‬‬

13:00 - Parade Starts‬

13:30 - Speeches and ceremony at the memorial stone
in Princes Street Gardens.‬

‬

The Parade:

The parade usually goes from High Street, down Bank Street and
the Mound before entering Princes Street Gardens and
ending beside the Norwegian memorial stone
where there will be a short ceremony and
games for the children.
 

We are so looking forward to these celebrations, and
hope as many as possible want to and can participate.

Dress code: Smart / National Dress / Bunad
