Scottish Society for Northern Studies
The Society was founded in 1968 to explore inter-relationships between the Scandinavian, Celtic and Scottsh cultures through a variety of historical media and scholarly research and provides both a forum and a community for specialists and enthusiasts of a wide breadth of disciplines to pursue their common 'northern' interests. Â
Membership is open to all, and new members are very welcome. Â Members receive a free subscription to 'Northern Studies' and are entitled to reduced prices for the Society's other publications and conferences.
