CoScan Trust Fund administers a programme of TRAVEL GRANTS for young British people travelling to the Nordic countries for study or adventure.  It is open to anyone betweeen the ages of 15 and 25, planning to undertake a worthwhile project of a broadly educational nature. Application deadline 31 March 2018.

An informal group of Scottish professionals who want to raise the standard of knowledge and debate about life and policy in the Nordic nations.

Scottish Society for Northern Studies

The Society was founded in 1968 to explore inter-relationships between the Scandinavian, Celtic and Scottsh cultures through a variety of historical media and scholarly research and provides both a forum and a community for specialists and enthusiasts of a wide breadth of disciplines to pursue their common 'northern' interests.  

Membership is open to all, and new members are very welcome.  Members receive a free subscription to 'Northern Studies' and are entitled to reduced prices for the Society's other publications and conferences.
